how we started
it started with a search I couldn't finish...
Raj and I had been together for just over a year. We weren't ready for an engagement - but I knew what we had was real, and I wanted something to show for it. A promise.
So I went looking.
What I found was brass rings from brands I'd never heard of and sets that felt like they were made for a teenager and then… nothing. Just engagement rings...
But that gap wasn't just a shopping problem. It was a cultural one. Somewhere along the way, the promise ring had been forgotten.
And that felt wrong...

We didn't invent the promise ring. But we knew it needed a home. So we built one.

I've always felt that jewellery should mean something. The pieces we keep close aren’t just beautiful, they become little anchors in our lives. Reminders of who we are, where we’ve been, and what matters most. The ring from my Nan that’s never left my finger. The one my partner Raj gave me when we made our first promise. The piece my mum had made for my 21st – filled with pride and love. They’re more than just pieces of jewellery. They hold meaning. And they’ve stayed with me through everything.
That’s what I wanted to create with The Promise Co. – jewellery that does the same for you. What started as a simple idea, rooted in my love for sentimental jewellery, has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined. Every day, I get to witness your promises – to your partner, your sister, your oldest friend. And to yourself.
